Serviced campground
Also known as: Equipped campground, Full-service campground, RV park, Campground with facilities
A campground with electricity, water, showers, toilets and a dump station — the standard RV stopover.
A serviced campground is a site with marked pitches for tents and RVs and basic facilities: a 220V hookup at every pitch, fresh water taps, showers, toilets, bins and often Wi-Fi. It’s paid — usually RUB 800–3,000 per pitch per night.
The key thing for RV travellers is a dump station (for grey and black water) and a fresh water fill point for the tank. Without them, after 3–4 days off-grid you’ll have to go looking for services.
Russia has far fewer serviced campgrounds than Europe — around 200–300 across the whole country. Most are in Karelia, Altai, on the Black Sea coast and the Kola Peninsula. The CAMPLY catalogue lets you filter by “has dump”, “has 220V” and “level sites” (flat pitches for motorhomes).
