One of Russia's first national parks, created in 1983. Inside are forests, bogs, eco-trails and an elk biological station open to organised groups. Access is from Moscow, Mytishchi and Balashikha; driving and parking inside the park are restricted, and cars are left at the entrances, with the rest done on foot or by bicycle.
