Lake Pleshcheyevo lies beside Pereslavl-Zalessky and is part of a national park. On its shore is the Boat of Peter the Great museum with the surviving boat Fortuna, and on the north-eastern side the venerated Blue Stone. Open winds have made the lake popular with kitesurfers and windsurfers. Driving onto the shore and camping follow the park's rules — paid and only at designated points.
