Yugyd Va National Park

Description

Russia's largest national park, stretching along the Subpolar and Northern Urals in the Komi Republic; it is part of the Virgin Komi Forests World Heritage Site. Here are mountain rivers, taiga and the highest point of the Urals, Mount Narodnaya, with the famous Manaraga nearby. There are no roads inside the park: access is from Inta or Pechora by all-terrain vehicle, by water or on foot, and visits require a permit from the park administration with registration.
