Description
The lower part of the cathedral was laid in the 13th century and the upper rebuilt later; the blue domes with stars have become Suzdal's calling card. The 13th-century Golden Gates with gilded images survive inside. The cathedral stands on the bank of the Kamenka, next to the wooden St Nicholas church and a view over the water meadows.
