Description
The Tula Kremlin is an early-16th-century stone fortress placed on the southern frontier of the Muscovite state, and it never once surrendered to an enemy. It was restored for its 500th anniversary: there are museums, siege yards and trading rows, while the Kazanskaya embankment and the pedestrian Metallistov street have been laid out along the walls. The area is pedestrian, with parking on the adjoining streets.
