The Church of the Saviour is one of the most ornate churches in Tyumen, founded in the 18th century and later extended with side chapels. Its abundant decoration is the signature of Siberian Baroque. The building was long in other use and is being restored in stages; it stands on a historic street in the centre and is conveniently viewed from outside.
