The city zoo in Izhevsk, opened in 2008. It was built on modern principles, with spacious enclosures instead of cramped cages, and part of the collection is animals of central and northern Russia. It is within the city, next to a park, with parking at the entrance.
Samara zoo
Samara Zoo is a city zoo with a small collection of animals, aimed above all at family visits. The grounds are compact and a circuit takes little time. Check the schedule and prices in advance — they change with the season.
